Refund Policy

14 days. No reasons needed.

Last updated October 18, 2026

If Sorta isn't right for you, you can have your money back within 14 days of buying it. You don't need to give a reason, though we'd love to hear one so we can make Sorta better.

Try it first

Sorta is free on your first 1,000 photos, with no time limit and no account. It's the full app, so the best way to know whether it works with your PC, your drives and your iPhone is to run it before you buy.

How to ask for a refund

  1. Go to paddle.net, Paddle's buyer support site, within 14 days of your purchase. Enter the email you bought with or the order details from your receipt and ask for a refund. Paddle processed your payment, so Paddle issues the refund.
  2. Paddle returns the money to the card or payment method you used, including any tax. It normally shows up within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.

If anything about that is unclear, email support@sorta.photos and we will point you the right way. Asking within 14 days is what matters; a request that reaches us by email inside the window counts.

What happens to Sorta after a refund

Upgrades from Basic to Plus

An upgrade can be refunded the same way within 14 days of the upgrade. Only the Plus key stops working; your Basic key keeps working.

Who handles the money

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's own refund policy also applies; where it and this page differ, you get whichever gives you more.
